Man! You bust these out super fast! I mean all the detail and colorful characters, I wish I could put as many ideas to paper as quickly as you do! I guess that would require me to have as many ideas as you! I'm kinda slow in that area!!
Thanks man! Haha I just get inspired really easy xD I usually plot what I'm going to draw after while il finishing up the latest lol Maybe if I take more time my stuff would be better
I'm sure that would be the case!To put out the quality of pics as fast as you do takes some skill!! Still say you gotta try some art markers and bristol board!!!!
Well the bristol board isn't too bad, roughly the same price as your average sketch pad. But you get less sheets because they're thicker. But bristol is really good for pencil, markers, crayons, inks, colored pencils, etc. It's the smooth texture of the bristol which makes blending and shading easier.
Now as for the markers: If you go to Dick Blick [link] you get the best prices, but you gotta pay for shipping. The markers are cheaper in sets, but the Blick art markers are about $2.00 per marker, Prismacolors are about $3-$4.00 each and Copic markers (which are the absolute best!) run about $7-8.00 per marker (I know right!!)
The blick markers in my opinion work just as well as the Prismacolor markers, but prismacolor just started producing their markers with a brush tip! The Copics however are the easiest to use and blend with and there's almost no bleed with them!
I basically built my marker collection pretty much 1-2 pens at a time and the only copics I have are a flesh tone set, which I saved up for (it was like $36.00 for 6 markers!!!)once you get used to the markers though, they're really fun and quick, which is right up your alley!
